The Las Vegas Country Club is a private and elite equity membership club constructed by Marvin Kratter of Nevada Equities from the 1960s, which has become the favourite hideaway of stars and professional golfers.
The Club boasts of an 18-hole exquisitely manicured classic golf course designed by the legendary Ed Ault, a golf store, six indoor and outdoor tennis courts, racquetball, a clubhouse, a swimming pool, a gym that is equipped with state-of-the-art aerobic and weight machines, dining room, men's and women's lounges, member bar, barber and manicurist, manhood grille and banquet facilities.
The Club underwent several ownership turnovers since is building in the 1960s. From Kratter to a Strip hotel called Bonanza and later into the four partners of Realty Holdings namely Moe Dalitz, Harry Lahr, Nate Adelson and Irwin Molasky.
The group of Dalitz later sold the Club into 40 of its members who left it as an equity type membership, which still is until now.
The golf course underwent a major renovation to reconstruct all of the greens, bunkers and tees complexes and also to replace its 20-year-old irrigation system with Architect Mark Rathert doing the new layout.
The golf course has undergone a facelift but still keeps the standard look and playability.
The clubhouse of the Las Vegas Country Club boasts of contemporary amenities like a Jacuzzi, sauna, and an indoor exercise area, pro shop, men's grill, women's card room, snack bar, shoe store and barber shop.
